Unemployment in Britain is expected to reach a 12 year high of 2.27million people after the latest figures revealed an extra 63,000 people claimed unemployment benefits in the month of May. Specialists are forecasting further job cuts and unemployment to rise over 3 million by the end of 2010.
Unemployment seems to have hit the 18 to 24 year olds worst of all in the UK with 676,000 people between this age currently unemployed. This is a third more than this time last year.
